To achieve significant computing capability increases, we are researching acceleration technologies at low cost and low power by specializing in targeted domains. Specific domains include machine learning, probabilistic graphical model, and homomorphic encryption, and so on. Also, focusing on coarse-grain reconfiguration architecture (CGRA), which optimizes execution according to the characteristics of processing, we are studying circuit configuration and reconfiguration schemes, granularity optimization, and the co-design of these and compilers. In addition, we are also working on quantum computing based on new computing principles.
