About Nakamura-Takase Laboratory

Our laboratory aims to establish high-quality computing and its design methodology to achieve advanced interaction between the physical and digital worlds. High quality includes performance, responsiveness, low power consumption, reliability, and security, all of which involve trade-offs requiring system-specific optimization. We explore design methodologies that optimize entire systems from edge devices like sensors and robots to servers through collaboration among circuit technology, architecture, and software. Our laboratory also collaborates with Professor Sekiya of the Center for Information Security Education and Research.
